Vounteers needed!

Our Fall 2010 volunteer tree planting has been scheduled for Sunday, November 7th. Our start time will likely be 12:00 PM.

Our tree plantings typically occur on Saturdays, but this planting will be on a Sunday. It has been scheduled as a special event in conjunction with the Arbor Day Foundation – Partners in Community Forestry Conference, to be held in Philadelphia that week. As a special pre-conference event, conference attendees will be working alongside our volunteer group to complete a one-day, bare-root, urban planting of 28 trees.

We were selected from all active Philadelphia TreeTender groups to host this pre-conference event, and this will be a great opportunity for our group to get some valuable positive PR exposure.
